🤍RIP JOSÉ

Today, Puerto de Mogan says goodbye to one of its own.

José Alonso Hernández was born in Playa de Mogán.The sea was his life, and he spent decades working as a fisherman. He was one of those people who carried the history and stories of the old village with him.

Many visitors to Puerto de Mogán will remember José with his warm smile, his love of domino, his stories, and his passion for the sea. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome.

As time passes, people like him become even more important, reminding us of the village’s fishing heritage and its unique character.

Thank you, José, for keeping those traditions alive and for sharing them with so many people over the years.

Rest in peace. You will be remembered by many, both here in Puerto de Mogán and by friends from all over Europe.
