The largest weekly market on Gran Canaria.
A warm welcome to Puerto de Mogán — whether you live here, are staying for a while, or visiting just for the day
Fridays are special… the village comes alive, and the market sets the rhythm of the day.
The market starts by Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa, winds its way through the village, and continues all the way out towards the end of the pier. Take your time and enjoy the walk.
Open: 9.00 -14.00
This isn’t a traditional local farmers’ market, but it’s still a fun and lively one, especially for visitors. You’ll find bags, clothes, hats, souvenirs, leather goods, aloe vera products, jewellery, and plenty of little things that make nice holiday buys.
💡 A few tips:
• Don’t be afraid to haggle politely, a smile goes a long way. A gentle guide is 20–40%, depending on the item. If it doesn’t feel right, enjoy browsing and move on
• Cash is useful, though many stalls now take cards
• It can get busy late morning, so earlier is often nicer

Get off at Lomo Quiebre (one stop before Puerto de Mogán).
Walk towards the large white building La Plaza Mogán Shopping Centre, next to Cordial Mogán Valle — this is where the market begins.
It continues down the avenue, over the bridge to the beach, and all the way towards the lighthouse.
🍽️ Food idea:
When you reach the end of the pier, you might want to try El Faro. It’s under new management, and I have had many recomenndations from guests.
