🌺 Friday Market in Puerto de Mogán

It’s Friday, which means market day in Puerto de Mogán. The largest market on the island.

The market starts by Cordial Mogán Playa, winds its way through the village, and continues all the way out towards the end of the pier — so take your time and enjoy the walk.

Open: 9.00 -14.00 am

This isn’t a traditional local farmers’ market, but it’s still a fun and lively one, especially for visitors. You’ll find bags, clothes, hats, souvenirs, leather goods, aloe vera products, jewellery, and plenty of little things that make nice holiday buys.

💡 A few tips:

• Don’t be afraid to haggle politely — a smile goes a long way

• Cash is useful, though many stalls now take cards

• It can get busy late morning, so earlier is often nicer

🚌 Getting there:

You can come by bus, ferry from nearby resorts, or taxi — today it’s easy from most of the south-west coast.

🍽️ Food idea:

When you reach the end of the pier, you might want to try El Faro. It’s under new management, and if you give it a try, I’d love to hear what you think — I haven’t tested it myself yet.
